AL KHOR, Qatar (AP) — Morocco drew 0-0 with 2018 finalists Croatia at the World Cup in Qatar on Wednesday.
Morocco stifled Croatian captain Luka Modrić, who won the Most Valuable Player award at the last World Cup, to take his home country to the final before losing to France.
The Moroccan defended and caused problems for Croatia’s defense, including a brilliant shot from Achraf Hakimi in the second half that goalkeeper Dominik Rybaković had to fend off.
