LONDON، Feb 21(PR)- Mir Agha Suleman Dawood Jan Ahmadzai, the influential head of the historic State of Kalat, will be the chief guest at the launch ceremony of MQM leader Altaf Hussain’s book on Balochistan in London on Saturday(tomorrow).
Mir Sulaiman Daudjan Ahmadzai, the 35th Khan or Sultan of the State of Kalat, has been residing in the UK since 2006. This public address will be his first in 19 years.
Altaf Hussain’s book, “The Balochistan Issue… Through the Lens of History,” is derived from a series of his lectures. It covers the history of the Kalat State, the forced annexation of Balochistan into Pakistan post-independence, armed uprisings against the annexation, the political role of Baloch leaders and nationalist parties, resistance movements, military operations, and the events and consequences of these conflicts.
The book offers an in-depth historical perspective on the Balochistan issue, highlighting significant political and historical developments.
