TEHRAN, June 14(Tehran Times) – In a significant display of Iranian air defense capability, the Artesh (Iranian Army) has successfully downed a third advanced Israeli F-35 fighter jet violating Iranian airspace. According to an official Artesh statement broadcast on National Iranian TV, the Israeli warplane was neutralized over western Iran. The pilot ejected and was subsequently captured by Iranian forces, marking the third F-35 downed since Israeli aggression began last Friday. Of the two previously downed jets, one pilot is confirmed killed, while another remains in Iranian custody.
