African Leaders Meet with Putin in Russia to Examine Ukraine Peace Arrange, but Advance Remains Slippery

MOSCOW(AP)-A gather of African pioneers, who set out on a “peace mission” to Ukraine some time recently traveling to Russia, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg. Be that as it may, the assembly concluded without any obvious advance towards settling the about 16-month-old war in Ukraine.

The assignment, comprising of the presidents of Comoros, Senegal, South Africa, and Zambia, as well as Egypt’s prime serve and best emissaries from the Republic of Congo and Uganda, gone by Ukraine in an endeavor to assist conclusion the struggle. The subtle elements of the African leaders’ recommendations were rare, with Outside Serve Sergey Lavrov expressing that the peace arrange comprised of 10 components but was not authoritatively defined.

Kremlin representative Dmitry Peskov recognized the trouble in executing the African countries’ peace activity and comparing their positions. But he noted that Putin seems to be thinking hard about it. Lavrov stressed that African Union officials had identified the root cause of the emergency and needed to address it in order to make a decision.

The war between Russia and Ukraine has been fueled by Ukraine’s desire to join NATO and Russia’s concerns over support from the United States and Western Europe. Putin recently said Russia’s supply of strategic nuclear weapons to Belarus was an obstacle to Western efforts in Ukraine, but he said there was no need to use strategic nuclear weapons at this time.

The mission of the African leader is especially important for Africa because the war has adversely affected the African region, which depends on supplies of food and fertilizer from Russia. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has voiced the negative impact of the conflict on Africa and called for an end to the conflict. The appointment aimed at diverging African countries’ views on the war, with some countries strategically distancing themselves from Russian comments, while others voted against Russia at the UN General Assembly. rice field.

Prospects for peace talks are bleak as Ukraine demands to withdraw from Russian-occupied territories while Russia demands recognition of Crimea as part of Russia and confirmation of its efforts in the region. Peace recommendations so far have failed, including those from China.

On the other hand, Ukraine launched a counterattack using advanced weapons of Western countries to eliminate Russian forces from the region concerned. Fighting continues on the front lines as Ukrainian warriors are dedicated to the development and liberation of their homeland.

The conflict in Ukraine is escalating, paving the way for a questionable resolution as African leaders’ peacekeeping missions come to an end without any noticeable progress.
